The fluid dynamics of both the ducts and the shape is optimized through the use of neural networks to improve both the maximum flow (HighFlow) and maximum outlet speed (HighSpeed). The HighFlow is the optimal choice to simulate the effect of the wind with regard to the road stock cars as well as for the ducts of the cockpit of the GT cars. In this case, the volume flow rate and efficiency of air flow are the design targets to be optimized. On the other hand, the HighSpeed is the best choice to simulate the wind of Open Wheel cars such as the Formula cars. The dynamics is a very important requirement: indeed, concerning a Formula car, the car go from 300 kph to 0 kph in less than 3 seconds. The 3DRap Wind Simulator allows to match the vehicle speed perfectly.
